Utilisation of already deposited energy by-products in cement production
Lukášek, David ; Švec, Jiří (referee) ; Opravil, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses at study of deposited high-temperatured fly ash and its utilization in production of cement. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the production and division of cements. The individual advantages and disadvantages of high-temperature and fluid fly ash when added to cements are addressed. The theoretical knowledge was used to design subsequent experiments. The conclusion of the theoretical part of the work deals with pozzolans. The main content of the experimental part was the analysis of raw materials and subsequent analysis of the mechanical properties of the prepared mixtures. The experiments were designed in accordance with valid standards.
Pozzolanic Capability Assessment of Slag Oslavany
Trandová, Kateřina ; Fridrichová, Marcela (referee) ; Gazdič, Dominik (advisor)
This thesis deals with the pozzolanic capability assessment of slag Oslavany. The aim is to assess the latent hydraulicity whether the slag suitable as a secondary raw material. The practical part of this thesis is focused on monitoring progress of the hydration process between lime and slag. The assessment was performed by thermal analysis of which was determined the content of CaO and SiO2.

Influence of grinding technology on the properties of blended cements with pozzolanic components.
Dočkal, Jakub ; Smetanová,, Lenka (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to summarize and assess the possibility of using recycled glass in the manufacture of blended portland cements. Work was focused on examining the possibilities to improve pozzolanic properties of recycled glass with new milling processes. The formation of agglomerates material during the course of grinding and their subsequent effect on the hydration process of binders has been also examining. Part of the thesis was also focused on grindability of materials and determination of using separate or inters grinding.
